In this episode of the Leave The Swamp series, El Bandido talks what Texas First Outdoors means to us and why it is so important today.
We love the idea of “America First” but, sadly, no one in power really cares or truly follows through with that idea and it has become obvious that this phrase is now a hollow, throw away line.
We believe folks should be thinking in terms of TEXAS First instead as taking care of personal and local first and foremost is the most important thing.
We also introduce the concept of “The New 300“, a play on the “Old 300” which described the first group of settlers in Texas under Stephen F. Austin’s colony.
This will be a new movement of outdoorsmen who will start planting sparks of liberty in the minds of our fellow Texans.
Why is it so important for us as outdoorsmen to be a part of and in fact be the foundation of this movement?
No one cares more for our great state than those of us to live so close to the land: hunters, anglers, farmers, ranchers and all those who love the outdoors.
As outdoorsmen we are, by nature, on the front lines of protecting and preserving what we love so dear here in Texas so we must lead this movement to the promised land.
“The New 300” will exist to create (to paraphrase Samuel Adams) Texas’ own “irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brush fires of freedom in the minds of men.”
Those brush fires will consist of the idea of Texas liberty, the nullification of evil federal dictates, the eventual shedding of the federal albatross holding her down and her ultimate independence thereby fulfilling her destiny of greatness for generations to come.
The rallying cry of The New 300 shall be: Preserve The Tradition, Protect The Legacy of TEXAS. Enjoy!
