Now that you’ve covered up most all you body now it’s time to finish the job and cover up your hands and head as well.
It’s entirely possible that not adequately covering these parts could be what is scaring the turkey away.
If you’re in a moderate climate and you happen to have good circulation keeping your hands warm, be sure to get some nice light weight camo gloves, especially ones that allow you to shoot comfortably with ’em on.
You don’t want to be taking them off to shoot when that tom is right in front of you.
If you’re in a cold weather area, get the winter gloves with the trigger finger. Of course you may already have a pair for deer hunting so you could just use those.
After you covered up your hands now it’s time to hide that mug since it sticks out the most. Luckily there are several options.
Camo hats with the built in mesh make it easy to simply shake down the face mask when sitting and you’re ready to go.
Another option however, especially if you already have a favorite camo hat, is a separate mask that you can simply attach to that hat.
We wanted to let you know about perhaps the best, most convenient product out there for this is the BunkerHead Head Concealment System.
The BunkerHead doesn’t rest against your skin, it’s well ventilated so it won’t cause your glasses to fog, it turns when you turn so there is no vision obstruction, and it can be custom-shaped to any desired position for total comfort and concealment.
