In this episode the guys are honored to have on Daniel Cunningham. Daniel is a horticulturist at Texas A&M AgriLife’s Water University program (https://agrilifeextension.tamu.edu/ & https://wateruniversity.tamu.edu/) where he provides professionals and the public with the most current research-based information on resource efficient and water-conserving landscape management. Focused on a holistic approach, Daniel specializes in native plants, edible landscaping, rainwater harvesting and utilizing landscapes as habitat for beneficial wildlife.

We had a great time speaking with him about landscape management for wildlife and hunting and learned a whole bunch such as tips on water conservation and catchment (some of which you may not have heard), native landscaping for utility as well as beauty, mosquito control with plants, how to ward of those pesky mosquitoes using plants around you while out in the field hunting, the importance of habitat restoration and how to plant trees from their seeds and acorns and much, much more!

Daniel has graciously offered to identify any plant you can’t identify yourself on your land. Simply send him a message with a picture of it to any of his social media accounts. You can follow Daniel at:
